Distributed Power Service

About the service

The energy landscape is rapidly evolving from centralised, fossil-based power generation sources towards decentralised and low-carbon alternatives. As we add more intermittent renewables into our electricity mix, ensuring system flexibility and resiliency has become a priority to prevent blackouts. Flexible, dispatchable energy such as gas engine driven power plants are part of the solution to integrate these intermittent resources.

The pace of change will ultimately be dependent on each country’s resources and energy requirements. With some countries experiencing days where 100% of electricity is provided by renewables and other countries still reliant on coal power generation, the transition is at different points worldwide. Distributed power technologies will therefore experience a wide range of threats and opportunities as the energy landscape evolves, and technologies will have to adapt to fulfil these requirements.

LCP Delta’s Distributed Power Service enables you to be successful in global gas engine markets by providing data, analysis, insights and opinion on the markets, opportunities, customer types and competitor types.
