The latest data from LCP Delta’s STOREtrack provides hard evidence that the European energy storage market is seeing accelerating growth, as the number of new grid-scale (front-of-meter) projects that have become operation per year has doubled from 87 in 2020 to 170 in 2022, while the average installation capacity per project trebled over the same period (5.7MW to 16MW).
