Matthew Deitz

I am a Senior Consultant at LCP Delta, where I work across energy markets and finance. I work with energy market participants and investors providing analysis and advice on navigating the energy transition and operating in a changing energy market. I also provide analysis and advice to public bodies and market operators on the suitability and efficiency of the market design.

I have experience working in wholesale energy market and analysis roles for Ofgem, Energy UK - the UK’s energy trade association, and most recently UK Government. In my role at the UK Government, I led the department's wholesale power markets work, most notably working on the Review of Electricity Arrangements (REMA), review of the Capacity Market (CM), and monitoring and implementing mitigation measures to risks arising from the Russian-Ukrainian war.
